2. The UK consists of four nations 

UK which is United Kingdom has its name because it has united four different kingdoms i.e. four countries. These four countries are Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. Each of this country has distinct government and unique set of laws. Even the accents and culture are also different in all these four nations.
