Beaches, historical architecture, food, and football are just some things Spain is famous for.  It is home to the graceful flamenco which is a beautiful part of Spanish culture as are the delicious tapas and the world-famous bullfighting. In a country like Spain, everyone can find something that piques their interest, be it lounging on sunny beaches or getting messy at the Tomatina festival.

To study in Spain, students will need certificates of completed education, English (IELTS/TOEFL), or Spanish (DELE) language proficiency proof.  Law, humanities, and marketing are some popular courses in Spain. 

Visa

Once accepted, students can apply for their student visa. There are 3 types of visa that a student may need:

  • For less than 3 months- Students can apply for a Schengen student visa. 

  • For 3 to 6 months – short term student visa

  • More than 6 months – long term student visa

Some of the basic requirements:

  • Acceptance letter

  • Passport 

  • Schengen application forms 

  • Health insurance

  • Financial funds proof

It takes 15 to 30 days for visa processing and It costs around 60 Euros.

 Fees and living

Fees can range from 13 k INR to 30 lakh INR/year. Some of the highest-ranking universities charge from 1-3 lakh INR/year.

Around 80 k INR/month is enough for students to live comfortably in more expensive cities in Spain. 60 -70 k INR/month is enough for the cheaper cities. Renting apartments can be quite affordable otherwise student halls are a better option.

Students will receive the best education possible and at the same time, get to experience the wonderful country. Life is very relaxed in Spain but also very interesting to international students who will get experience different cultures, activities and have great food. The people are friendly even though there may be a language barrier, and the weather is sublime.

MALTA

Malta is a small island country in southern Europe, famous for its sun and sand-filled delight. Its beautiful coast is an object of everybody’s admiration and its crystal clear waters make it an excellent place for water sports. The many festivals, delicious cuisine, historical gems, and stunning landscapes are highly revered by all.

Malta has a respectable education to offer at a reasonable fee. The University of Malta is the premier choice in the country and courses in engineering, arts, management, and more are offered. 

Requirements

The university will specify what qualifications are required but they usually accept certificates from education completed in your home country. Taking standardised tests can help admission.

Students may have to take an English proficiency test such as IELTS or TOEFL for admission.

Visa 

A student visa is required for courses for more than 90 days. The basic requirements are:

  • Passport

  • Acceptance letter

  • Financial sustenance

  • Medical insurance

  • Flight reservations

Fees are around 60 Euro and take 8-9 weeks for processing.

Fees and Living

Education here isn’t very expensive, depending on the course the fees are around 80 k – 1 lakh INR/year. Malta is safe and friendly for students and also very cheap compared to Western Europe. Students have many options to choose from for accommodation and they can have a lot of fun when not studying. The picturesque island, cuisine, and friendly people make it a great place for international students.
