With no fees in German public universities, great infrastructure/facilities and being an architecturally rich country, Germany is a top choice for architecture students.

Technical University of Munich (TUM):

·   Top-notch facilities for research and studies instigates innovative thinking, promotes an entrepreneurial spirit, promotes students to face modern issues and help solve them.

·   Requirements: German proficiency required, high school certificate, letter of motivation, portfolio, passport, preliminary documentation (VPD), resume, application for enrollment, health insurance

·   Fees: there is no college fee, though there are some student fees, which include student union fee and semester ticket. The total fee results in around 142.40 euros.

·   Courses-Bachelors of Arts, architecture: students will set a strong foundation with projects and researches. They will be focusing on design, urbanism, building construction, history and theory, design, presentation and digital design

Masters of Arts, architecture: this course will give a broader understanding of the field and further improve professional skills. Students will be focusing on Integrated Building Technology, Cultural Heritage, History and Criticism and Urban Landscape and Transformation.

TU Berlin (TU)

·   Known for its research facilities, a wide variety of subjects offered to make students professionally proficient, architecture course.

·   Well-equipped library and facilities.

·   Requirements:  German language proficiency, English proficiency (IELTS / TOEFL) for courses taught in English.

Bachelors’ program – high school certificate

Masters’ program- bachelors’ degree will be needed in relation to the masters’ course

·   Courses:

Bachelors’ in science, architecture: provides all skills for urban development and architecture that undergraduate students will need, also develops the creativity of students and combines it with informative knowledge. The course is taught in German.

They will also learn:

·   Constructive skills

·   Legal social skills

·   Technical skills

·   Sustainability

Masters’ in science, architecture: taught in German, the course is project-based to ensure better understanding and practical skills

Fees: student fees of 310 euros, there are no tuition fees as it is a public university.
