India 

Doing undergraduate courses in India can vary in fees depending on whether to study in a government or private college. Government colleges have subsidized rates generally around rupees   5 to 30 k (AIIMS 7000, MAM 15) per year for tuition and around 10 to 30 k for hostel fee. The education, faculty, and placements of government colleges are very good and hence admission here is highly sought after. That is why admission is very hard and students will face very tough competition. The hostels and infrastructure may not be the best. 

On the other hand, studying in private universities can be very expensive, ranging from rupees 1 to 60 lakh per year for tuition (CMC 2.20 lakh, KMC 58.60 lakh), and hostel fees will depend on the type of accommodation, around 1.5 lakh. Students will have better facilities and hostels too.

Abroad 

German

Studying in Germany is free in public universities, but knowledge of German is mandatory. Though there is usually a semester fee of about 20 to 50k.  The advantage of studying here will definitely be studying with no worries of tuition fee, and the only concern will be costs of living which will obviously depend on the students’ lifestyle but generally range around 70k per year.  

Norway

Education in Norway is free as well and has a semester fee of around only rupees 2 to 5 k. Living costs are considerably higher here and students can have to spend from 60k to even 1 lakh INR in cities like Oslo, but the quality of living here is very high and so it will be worth it. The infrastructure, education, and faculty are very good and the universities are recognized.

Georgia

Education in Georgia is very affordable and a very popular destination for Indian students. The fees can range from 25 to 30 lakh INR and the hostel fees vary but are around 2 lakh INR. Getting admission is easy due to a low cutoff and low competition and it is a safe country with good infrastructure for students.

Ukraine

Ukraine has been a highly popular destination for aspiring medical students, having very affordable costs and the European standard of living. The cost of living is about 89 thousand to 1.12 lakh INR. Tuition fees are around 18-22 lakh INR and the institute provides world-class services for medical students in faculty and equipment for research and studies. Ukraine has a friendly environment for students to better appreciate international exposure.

Russia

Boasting a simple entrance process, with subsided living and tuition expenses. Russia has become a popular site for medical students abroad. Average tuition costs are around 18 -25 lakh INR. Yearly costs of living expenditure amount up to 2.24-2.62 lakh INR.
