But if you fancy the idea of studying in Ireland, you should be aware of the expenses that you are going to have so that you can arrange funds accordingly. 1. TUITION FEES 

The tuition fee of the course in which you enroll is the foremost expenditure of yours. Mostly, students go abroad to pursue their undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral studies. The average cost of undergraduate programs in Ireland is €9,850 to €25,500 annually. Similarly, the average cost of postgraduate programs in Ireland is €9,500 to €34,500 annually. And for doctoral studies, the average amount is €9,500 to €34,500 annually. 

2. ACCOMMODATION COST 

You have two options for your accommodation – on campus and off-campus. University does offer an on-campus accommodation facility but if you are not satisfied with that, you can live off-campus on your own. On average if you wish to live alone on your own, it will cost around 400 – 900 EUR/month. If you live with a partner/colleagues, it will cost around 450 – 550 EUR/month. On the other hand, if you wish to live on campus, the average cost will be 300 – 650 EUR/month. 

3. FEES OF STUDENT VISA 

The student visa will cost around 60 Euros of both Visas type C and type D. 

4. COST OF FOOD 

You have to do some research and find some supermarkets from where you can do grocery shopping with heavy discounts. Groceries are not that much expensive, on average they will cost around €250-350 (INR 22,000-30,000) per month. Also, if you want to eat in a restaurant, three meal course food will cost around €30- 55 (INR 2,600- 5,000). 

5. TRAVELLING COST 

You can ignore traveling expenses if you choose on-campus accommodation. Still, if you live off-campus, you can travel by community buses which cost around €50 – 55 (INR 4,500- 5000) per month. To get discounts, make sure to have your bus pass. Also, you can rent a bicycle for around €20 (INR 1,800) per day but a community bus more reasonable. 

6. UTILITY EXPENDITURE 

There are various costs that have to be borne by students. These charges are electricity, water, gas, laundry, etc which are necessities that you cannot ignore. The aggregate cost of all these utilities is €550- 1,000 (INR 48,000- 80,000) per month. Also, the internet being our necessity item now, cost around €50-60 (INR 4,400- 5,300) per month. 

7. SOCIAL OUTINGS AND EXPENSES 

Living abroad for studies means you will definitely explore the country on your weekends. It’s totally into your hands, how much you will spend on your leisure activities and shopping.
