Switzerland

It is one of the leading countries in innovation, giving credit to its excellent research facilities and educational institutes. It is a country with a charming culture and terrain though very cold, still eye-catching breathtaking.

Requirements
If the student takes a course in English they will have to take an English proficiency test such as TOEFL or IELTS. Some universities have their own entrance exams for admission whereas others will accept past educational qualifications or standardized exams results.
Visa
After students receive their acceptance letter they should apply for their student visa at the embassy/consulate. It is advised to apply for the visa for 6 months in advance. It usually takes 8 weeks to receive the visa. Most students will require a D-type visa, which is for courses that last more than 3 months (otherwise C-type). If they apply for the D-type visa, they will have to register for the resident permit within 14 days.

Fees
The tuition fees will vary depending on course and university, public universities being more affordable and offering an education that is equally sublime. Tuition fees in public universities are reasonable ranging around 30 k to 3 lakh euro per year whereas private universities charge much higher fees close to 30 lakh euro per year.
Life
Switzerland is undoubtedly a beautiful country with picturesque, snow-laden mountains, pretty towns and bustling cities. It is a very safe, clean country with an excellent transport system and because of the high standard of living, living here can be quite expensive. Average costs for a living will range from 80 k to 1.5 lakh INR per month.
Ireland
Ireland, with lush green countryside’s giving it the name of the emerald isle whilst also having a vibrant city life will provide students with a nurturing and exciting environment for their education and life. It’s famous for its pubs, Saint Patrick’s Day, music and dance which are all an integral part of their rich culture.
It is highly respected for the high-quality education offered to students from all around the world from internationally recognized institutions. Ireland has some of the best universities for medicine, language/literature, engineering, law and business. Since English is widely spoken here, students will not face communication barriers in either courses or daily communication.
Exams required
Each institute will require different credentials but all will require an English proficiency test score (TOEFL and IELTS). The GRE and SAT though aren’t required, can help the admission process. The GMAT is asked for by most business schools for MBA courses.
Some of the best medical colleges here are trinity college Dublin, royal college of surgeons in Ireland and university college of Ireland. A degree in medicine from Ireland is accepted in many countries, including India. Students will need to give the HPAT as well.
Living
Living in the cities of Ireland are vibrant yet cosy making students feel comfortable but also eager to explore the heritage laden sites. It is a friendly and generally safe country with aggregable weather year-round, getting bearably cold in the winters. The public transport is cheap and reliable. Students here will also get a chance to celebrate several summer festivals.
Costs
Ireland, in general, is quite an expensive country when it comes to living expenses. Students can be expected to spend about 70 k to 1 lakh INR per month, but this will vary according to city and student. Fees for public universities will be from 7 lakh to 30 lakh INR per year.
Then students are also required to pay a service fee for supporting clubs, societies and for examination entries which are around 3000 Euro
Visa
All international students will require a student visa which can be applied for up to 3 months in advance. It usually takes up to 8 weeks for the process.
